The Young Artist Master Series (YAMS) provides an opportunity for students to be coached on in-progress pieces twice a year in preparation for MAP, CHC, or other competitions.
YAMS requires a 45-minute minimum per student. Signups are prepaid for both sessions, and should be turned in by the October Chapter Meeting. It is very difficult to change times/dates for the second session. Fees ($80 per hour) are not refundable, but you may send a different student if necessary.
2025-2026 Dates & Details
YAMS Session #1 will be held October 24-25, 2025 and Session #2 will be held February 20-21, 2026. This year’s YAMS Instructor is Dr. Tanya Stambuk.
Friday sessions will be held at Julie Swienty’s Studio in Kent.
Saturday sessions will be held at Sviatlana Riedel’s Studio in Auburn.
